SQL Server Database Developer - Dartford - Hybrid Our 10 year partner and key client are hiring a SQL Server Database Developer to join a growing IT Development team within a well-established, fast-scaling global logistics and e-commerce business named in the Sunday Times Top Track 250 companies. This is a new role where you’ll design, build, and optimise database solutions that power business-critical systems. Develop and maintain high-quality T-SQL (procedures, views, functions, indexes)
Diagnose and fix performance issues using execution plans and query tuning
Optimise transactional systems, reporting, and integrations
Support structured database changes across Dev, Test, and Production
Work with release/CI processes to deliver safe, reliable deployments
Troubleshoot complex data and performance issues
Help improve database standards and practicesEssential: 5+ years’ SQL Server development experience
Strong T-SQL and performance tuning skills
Solid database design knowledge
Experience managing changes across environments
Strong problem-solving abilityDesirable: Experience with application teams
Exposure to high-availability environments
