More about your role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the newly formed training Academy within the business - PfP Thrive – where we’ll be delivering apprenticeships and formal qualifications to our own employees and within wider housing sector.

As part of your role you will deliver and assess Level 3 and Level 4 Housing and Property Management Apprenticeships to housing professionals.  This will involve supporting with the creation of engaging curriculums and delivering one to one coaching that lead to an inspiring learner experience and ultimately learner success. This role will also require setting and marking suitable assessments, carrying out work-based observations and professional discussions amongst other methods to ensure that learners are well prepared and supported through to end point assessment. The role will also require close working relationships with employers to support a tailored training plan to really enhance the learner journey.

This role will be supported by a tutor who will be delivering the apprenticeship knowledge – you’ll work alongside them to provide one to one coaching and feedback to learners as well as getting involved in standardisation activities and ensuring quality compliance.

Delivery will be mainly remote and will include learners from Places for People as well as other housing associations.

This role will involve mainly working from home but will also include occasional travel to multiple locations across the UK, so a full, clean driving license is essential, you will be entitled to an allowance to contribute to the up keep of your vehicle and it is possible to claim back milage.

The essential criteria is listed below

  • At least 5 years of occupational competence within the housing sector, and evidence of up-to-date CPD activity as you will be delivering L3 and L4 housing apprenticeships to professionals in the sector and will need up to date, relevant knowledge e.g. Awaab’s law.
  • Ideally, will have (or be willing to work towards) Level 3 Award in Teaching and Assessing and CAVA qualification.
  • Strong training and facilitation skills

More about you

You have at least five years of occupational competence within the housing sector, preferably with some senior level experience. You may also have a background in coaching and training, supporting or leading on developing presentations, communication, and creating materials like PowerPoint slides and progress reports.

Your strong interpersonal skills enable you to build effective relationships across various levels. Ideally, you have experience in people management, lesson planning, and IT software.

You should hold or be willing to work towards qualifications in education and assessment (A1/TAQA/CAVA) (AET)
