We are partnering with a leading financial services organisation to appoint an experiencedData Lead / Data Management Consultantto drive the delivery and adoption of enterprise data management capabilities.

This is a hands-on leadership role focused onimplementing data governance, improving data quality, and embedding data standardsacross the organisation. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver measurable improvements in how data is managed, controlled, and utilised.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead theimplementation of data governance frameworks, including roles, policies, and standards
• Drivedata quality improvement initiatives, including defining rules, monitoring, and remediation processes
• Collaborate with business and technology teams toembed data management practices into day-to-day operations
• Develop and support the rollout ofdata standards, controls, and best practices
• Establish and enhancemetadata management, including data lineage and data dictionaries
• Supportdata modelling activitiesat a conceptual and logical level
• Engage and influencesenior stakeholdersacross multiple business units to drive adoption and change
• Deliverdata-focused change initiatives, ensuring alignment with wider business and regulatory objectives

Required Experience

• Proven experience in aData Lead / Data Manager / Data Consultantrole within financial services

• Strong background in:

• Data Management frameworks

• Data Governance (DG)

• Data Quality (DQ)

• Metadata management

Experience deliveringdata initiatives in Financial Services (e.g. Insurance, Life & Pensions, or Banking)Demonstrated ability todrive change and influence senior stakeholdersExperience embeddingdata standards and governance into operational processesStrong understanding ofdata modelling concepts
