Our client is a leading UK food producer based in Ballymena, committed to quality, innovation, and excellence. They are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer, Monday to Fridayto join their engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.

• Location: Ballymena

• Salary: £40,500 £46,000

• Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday - Hours are weekly rotating shifts (subject to change):

• Four pay grades apply:

  • Grade 1 Single Skilled Maintenance Engineer: £20.04 per hour
  • Grade 2 Skilled Engineer: £20.84 per hour
  • Grade 3 Intermediate Engineer: £21.51 per hour
  • Grade 4 Technician (Multi-Skilled): £22.77 per hour

• Overtime Rates:

  • Time and a half (OT1.5) for standard overtime
  • Double time (OT2) for Sundays

Key Responsibilities/ Requirements

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults
• Minimise downtime and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Relevant engineering qualification (electrical, mechanical, or multi-skilled)
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
