About the Opportunity:
This is a senior-level backend role focused on building large-scale data platforms that power customer-facing products. Youll operate at a strategic level, shaping how data is aggregated, structured, and exposed across a modern, cloud-based architecture.

What Youll Be Doing:
Own the design and delivery of core backend data systems and APIs
Define how data is aggregated, stored, and consumed across platforms
Build scalable, high-performance data pipelines and services
Influence architectural direction and technology choices
Drive engineering best practices and mentor other engineers
Collaborate across teams to deliver data-driven product features

What Youll Bring:
Strong experience building distributed backend systems
Background in data platforms, ETL, or data warehousing
Experience with APIs and backend frameworks
Strong SQL and database optimisation experience
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Experience mentoring or leading engineers
