As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer you will be responsible for the design and development of electrical and electronic circuitry to support the manufacturing and systems development processes. Responsibilities:
* Lead electrical designs for new equipment.
* Creation, modification, maintenance and management of electrical designs and system builds.
* Support the product development needs of the next generation of xenon flashlamp systems
* Liaise with sub-contract suppliers of electrical systems.
* Support existing products in the field with technical support. Knowledge and Experience: Essential:
* A degree (or equivalent) in Electrical / Electronics Engineering.
* Experience in power electronics.
* Experience in E-Plan - drawings, panel layout, BOM, cable schedules
* Fault-finding of electrical and electronic circuitry.
* Willingness to travel for on-site customer support and training
* Self-starters with an attention to detail and a drive for problem solving. Desirable:
* Experience in PLC control system design * Experience in high voltage design * Experience in supervision of Electrical builds to design
* Experience in managing rollout of designs with suppliers
