Your New Company: Specialising in high volume automotive manufacturing, this well-established Tier One supplier based in Liverpool is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join their engineering team. What is on offer for the Manufacturing Engineer: \* Permanent, full-time position – 39 hours per week \* Liverpool based \* 26 days annual leave + bank holidays \* Additional 2 days annual leave for 100% attendance the previous year \* Additional day of annual leave for every 5 years of service Job Requirements for the Manufacturing Engineer: Reporting to the Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting new product launches and driving continuous improvement across the plant. \* Support the launch of new products and processes, including manufacturing feasibility analysis (DFA/DFM) and PFMEA \* Process development and assembly sequencing (process flow charts) for new programmes \* Monitor assembly equipment through production start-up \* Plant and process layout for new products and launches using AutoCAD \* Write process specifications and make ergonomic improvement recommendations \* Simulate continuous improvement processes with the objective of MEQ \* Specify, purchase and accept production equipment and tooling \* Capital equipment budget planning and tracking using MTM methods \* Perform cost analysis of product and process alternatives \* Monitor and audit manufacturing best practices and standards \* Lead or participate in lean manufacturing implementation and manufacturing footprint analysis \* Stimulate TPM in new projects Person Requirements for the Manufacturing Engineer: \* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering role \* Experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering, including MTM \* High volume automotive manufacturing experience desirable \* OEM or Tier One automotive seating experience desirable \* Project management and budget/cost control experience \* Strong AutoCAD and manufacturing simulation skills \* LEAN manufacturing experience and analytical problem-solving skills \* Equipment specification, run-off, installation and qualification experience \* MTM training, E1NS (FFMEA) and HRT4 Ergo desirable \* Excellent organisation, interpersonal skills and ability to deliver under pressure ADR Specialists Ltd are an equal opportunity employer and operate as an Employment Business and Recruitment Agency
