Monday to Friday - Flexible Day Shifts We’re working with a well-established, highly respected print and communications business with decades of success in the industry, to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. Operating a fully integrated production facility, they handle everything in-house—from litho, digital and large format print through to finishing, fulfilment, and distribution. The Role You’ll take full ownership as the sole on-site engineer, responsible for maintaining and improving all production equipment. * Planned and reactive maintenance across industrial print and finishing machinery * Implementing and managing a preventative maintenance schedule * Electrical and mechanical fault finding * Supporting production to minimise downtime * Identifying improvements and increasing overall efficiency This is a hands-on, autonomous role where you’ll be trusted to manage your own workload. Working Hours & Flexibility * Monday to Friday – Days only * Flexibility to choose your working pattern within production hours (6am–10pm) * Typical patterns: 8–4, 9–5, or 10–6 etc On-Call / Support * As the only engineer on site, there may be occasional requirement to support breakdowns outside of standard hours * This is expected to be minimal, with a strong focus on preventative maintenance * You’ll have the opportunity to build a structure that reduces reactive issues What We’re Looking For * Multi-skilled engineer with electrical and mechanical experience * Ideally electrically qualified or strong electrical bias * Proven experience within the print industry is essential * Hands-on experience maintaining industrial-scale print and finishing equipment * Comfortable working independently as the sole engineer on site * Proactive, organised, and confident in decision-making If you’re a highly skilled electro-mechanical engineer with experience within the print industry, this could be a great option for you.
