Position: Project Engineer
Location: Selby
Salary: £40,000, £50,000

Hours: 08:00AM to 17:00PM - Monday to Friday

Project Engineer required for a switchgear provider based in Selby. Currently seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join our team in a full-time on-site capacity. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing day to-day project management, planning, design, and engineering activities. The position requires strong electrical engineering expertise.

Project Engineer Overview

• Managing the entire project life cycles from order to invoice
• Mechanical design - Inventor
• Creating electrical design schematics
• Efficiently ordering of parts
• Supervising the manufacturing process of the project
• Handling amendments and variations
• Conducting Witness Testing and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)
• Coordinating deliveries and installations
• Organizing Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
• Full and sole client interfacing

Project Engineer Requirements

• Excellent communication skills
• Proven experience in project management and project engineering
• Ability to plan and execute projects from initiation to completion
• Proficient in electrical engineering principles and practices
• Some knowledge of Inventor & AutoCAD is required
• Competence in reading, producing, and interpreting technical drawings and

schematics

• Previous experience in the switchboard or power distribution industry is

preferred

• Minimum HNC in Electrical Engineering or a related field
