The company is offering a salary of £30,000 – £38,000, depending on experience. \* 37.5 hours per week \* 23 days holiday + bank holidays \* 4% pension contribution \* Free parking Responsibilities of the Design Engineer \* Creating 3D models and derived 2D technical drawings in SolidWorks, and producing 2D layout drawings in AutoCAD \* Contributing to new and ongoing projects - from initial concept sketches to final technical drawings \* Working closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure designs meet manufacturing requirements \* Reviewing and amending drawings in response to feedback \* Helping bring client visions to life through creative and practical design solutions \* Maintaining accurate documentation, drawing revisions, and version control Experience required of the Design Engineer \* Solidworks experience is essential. \* Sheet Metal/Fabrication background is highly desirable. \* AutoCAD experience is desirable.
