Service Service is recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer on behalf of a well-established engineering business in Norwich. This is a hands-on role focused on delivering mechanical design solutions across a range of technically challenging projects. Key Responsibilities \* Produce mechanical designs, assembly drawings, and detailed engineering documentation \* Develop solutions involving mechanical structures, rotating drives, and control systems \* Modify and maintain existing designs, datasheets, and technical documentation \* Identify and resolve technical challenges to ensure projects are delivered on time \* Collaborate with production, project management, and supply chain teams \* Attend design reviews and produce technical reports About You \* HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent \* Proven experience in a mechanical design engineering role \* Strong experience producing complex engineering drawings and 3D models \* Proficient in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD \* Knowledge of working to industry standards and regulations \* Confident communicator with the ability to work across teams and with stakeholders What’s on Offer \* Salary up to £55,000 per annum \* 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday \* Opportunity to work on varied and technically interesting projects \* Supportive team environment with scope for development This is a great opportunity to join a growing engineering business where you can play a key role in delivering design solutions while continuing to develop your career.
