Our client, an established family-run business, are looking for an experienced mechanic to assist in the servicing and repair of small to mid-sized farming/horticultural equipment.
As an Agricultural Engineer you will join a workshop team providing service, maintenance, and repair solutions for a range of tractors, mowers, sprayers, woodchippers, forestry and stone crushing machinery as well as garden machinery.
Your key responsibilities will include: * Service, repair, and diagnose faults on agricultural machinery. * Conduct pre-delivery inspections and ensure machinery is ready for use. * Use diagnostic tools * Collect and return equipment from clients * Maintain customer relationships.
You will need: * Experience in agricultural/horticultural machinery repair (e.g; tractors, self-propelled mowers, chippers, and chainsaws) * Strong mechanical background * Strong communication and IT skills * Own hand tools * Driving licenceYou will need a driving licence/vehicle to access the semi-rural location and to collect/return machinery to client sites
Hours of Work * Monday-Friday 8am-5pm * Optional overtime on a Saturday to meet business needs
