Responsibilities Include: \* Own mechanical design and delivery osubsystems from concept through manufacturing release \* Produce 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and supporting calculations. \* Own manufacturability and production readiness of assigned subsystems, ensuring designs are robust in real-world manufacturing environments \* Utilise manufacturing experience for continuous improvement of design standards, manufacturability, and cost. \* Lead rapid resolution of design issues arising from manufacturing and supplier feedback to maintain delivery momentum \* Own engineering interface with international suppliers, ensuring timely resolution of issues and progress toward delivery \* Guide and review work from junior engineers to ensure quality and delivery of assigned work \* Champion professional standards of engineering integrity, safety, and sustainability within the team. Required Experience \* Degree Qualified (Mechanical/Structural/Marine) \* 5-10 years hands-on experience designing mechanical systems in a production environment \* Proven ability to deliver designs from concept to production in marine, wind, offshore or similar environments \* Proficiency in Siemens NX, Inventor (or equivalent 3D CAD) \* Experience working with fabrication, welding, or large structural assemblies. \* Strong understanding of Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) principles. \* Proven experience driving cost-reductions to achieve targets. Comfortable working in highly dynamic environments with significant accountability
