We are supporting a Battery Energy Storage System project and are seeking an experienced SCADA / Automation Engineer to support commissioning and integration activities on a live, safety-critical site. This is a hands-on engineering role, requiring strong practical experience rather than purely design or office-based SCADA work. Key Responsibilities \* Support SCADA and automation system integration on a BESS site \* Work with PLC systems and industrial communications \* Configure and troubleshoot Modbus (TCP/RTU) \* Support fibre optic communications setup and testing \* Assist with commissioning and site integration activities \* Map SCADA systems to physical site equipment \* Provide both on-site and remote technical support Essential Experience \* Strong SCADA / Automation engineering background \* Hands-on experience with PLC systems \* Solid understanding of Modbus communications \* Experience with fibre optic / industrial networking systems \* Commissioning / installation / site-based experience \* Comfortable working in live operational environments \* Must be hands-on and technically delivery-focused Desirable \* BESS / battery storage / renewables experience \* Exposure to IEC 61850 environments \* HMI / systems integration experience If this role is of interest, please click Apply and attach your updated CV, and I will be in touch to discuss further
