Field Service Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical Bias) UK Wide | South East England-Based £40,000-£45,000 + Overtime + Bonus (OTE £50,000+) We’re looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer to join a growing engineering team supporting manufacturing clients across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrically or mechanically biased engineer who enjoys hands-on work, variety, and autonomy. The Role UK-wide field service role (client base mainly North West & South East)
Service, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing machinery
Working on: Conveyors, motors, and pumps
Hydraulics & pneumatics
Sensors, relays, drives & inverters
Single & three-phase systems
Fault-finding on cutting machines Basic work with Beckhoff & Bosch control systems
Occasional welding/fabrication work
Mix of electrical & mechanical work (approx. 50/50 or 60/40 either way) What We’re Looking For Apprentice trained (Level 3 or equivalent)
Previous field service experience is essential
Electrical or mechanical bias (electrical preferred if not 50/50)
Basic knowledge of Beckhoff & Bosch controls
Experience in manufacturing environments
Window industry experience is a bonus (not essential) What’s On Offer £40,000-£45,000 basic salary
Overtime paid at 1.5x (weekends)
Realistic OTE: £50,000+
