The Opportunity

We are currently looking for an experienced Surveyor Engineer specialising in Pressure and LEV Inspection to join our team in the West Midlands / Wolverhampton area.

This is a field-based engineering role focused on delivering high-quality inspections, fault finding, and maintenance activities on pressure systems and associated equipment, ensuring compliance with current regulatory and statutory requirements.

You will play a key role in helping our customers maintain safe, compliant, and operational equipment while delivering an exceptional standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections of pressure equipment and LEV systems in line with regulatory and statutory requirements
• Conduct fault finding, identify defects, and carry out repairs where required
• Ensure all inspections and maintenance activities are completed to a high technical standard
• Compile and complete detailed inspection reports and documentation
• Operate within agreed inspection authorities and Health & Safety standards
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships
• Support compliance with current legislation and industry standards
• Promote safe working practices at all times

What Were Looking For

Essential:

• ASME Level 1 and PSSR qualification / P601
• Excellent mechanical and technical knowledge
• Experience working with pressure vessel systems
• Ability to compile detailed technical reports
• Strong understanding of pressure equipment and inspection processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer-focused approach with the ability to build lasting relationships
• Full UK driving licence

Role Specific Qualifications / Experience:

• LOLER inspections
• PUWER regulations knowledge and inspections
• PSSR inspections
• LEV inspections
