The role
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, responsibilities include:
- Planned preventative maintenance and reactive fault finding across automated systems
- Electrical fault diagnosis within control panels including sensors, relays and contactors
- Mechanical maintenance on conveyors, pumps, valves, belts, bearings and pneumatics
- Working with CMMS systems to manage maintenance tasks and analyse recurring faults
- Supporting site performance through KPI-driven maintenance and continuous improvement
What they’re looking for
To succeed as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will need:
- Level 3 engineering qualification (NVQ, Apprenticeship or equivalent)
- Experience within automated, manufacturing or distribution environments
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills with mechanical competency
- Confidence working within control panels and using diagnostic tools such as multi-meters
- A team-oriented and proactive approach suited to a high-performance Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer environment
