Fire Alarm / Suppression Engineer North West based | UK & European travel | Overtime available An established specialist life safety contractor is looking to take on an experienced Fire Alarm / Fire Suppression Engineer. Due to continued workload, they are looking to appoint an engineer to the team. This is a hands-on role offering strong earning potential through overtime and paid travel, with exposure to UK and European projects. The Role Installation, commissioning, servicing and remedial works on fire alarm and fire suppression systems
Predominantly site-based, with work across the North West as well as regular UK travel
Occasional working away:
Typically 1 week per quarter (sometimes 2)
Overseas work mainly in Germany and the Netherlands
All travel, accommodation, food and expenses covered when working away
Paid overtime and enhanced rates when working away (UK and abroad)Experience Required 3-5+ years’ experience in fire alarm and/or fire suppression systems
Previous experience with addressable fire alarm systems
Experience working on fire suppression systems is highly desirable
Comfortable working independently on site
Full UK driving licencePackage Basic salary circa £40,000
Significant overtime available – realistic total earnings £50k–£70k+ depending on overtime and travel
Company van provided (fully equipped with tools)
