Software Architect (SC Cleared)

Rate:£535/day (Inside IR35)
Location:Mostly remote (occasional travel to Telford, approx. twice per month)
Clearance:Active SC Clearance required (transferable) Duration:6 Months (extension possible)

We are seeking an experiencedSoftware Architectto join a large-scalepublic sector data and digital transformation programme. The role will focus on solution architecture, governance, and supporting delivery across complex enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain High-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLD/LLD)
• Provide architectural governance across data and integration solutions
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure scalable, secure designs
• Support full development lifecycle activities (D4D)
• Contribute to test automation and CI/CD alignment
• Ensure compliance with architectural and security standards

Additional Information

• Hybrid working: mostly remote with approx. 2 days per month onsite in Telford
• Must holdactive SC Clearance (transferable within UK government)
• Priorgovernment or regulated industry experience required
