Role: Maintenance Engineer

Shift: Monday to Friday Days

Salary: Up to £50,000 (+O.T. Up to 1.4x)

Location: Braintree area

They supply their services into major UK clients across multiple sectors. They have committed to investing millions into the site, new machinery and workshops for you to get working on straight away. They are looking for another motivated Maintenance Engineer to get started and unlock future development.

The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Fault finding on mechanical components such as bearings, gearboxes, hydraulics, sprockets, shafts, rollers etc.
• Repairing heavy production equipment such as conveyors, hydraulic rams, cranes, hoppers, saws etc.
• Promote and encourage a culture of Continuous Improvement
• Confidently being able to perform reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

About You

The ideal Maintenance Engineer will have the following:

• Recognised industrial engineering experience
• Confidence working with hands on tools
• Ability to work as part of a team or individually
• A sound understanding of key mechanical components
