Salary: £52,000 + benefits
Location: South Wales (commutable from Cardiff, Newport, Bridgend)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced NPI / Project Engineer to join a growing manufacturing business investing heavily in new products, processes, and site development.

This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for an engineer who enjoys taking projects from concept through to production, working across multiple departments to deliver real change.

The Role

As an NPI / Project Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering new product introductions and supporting site-wide engineering projects.

Youll work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing new product introduction (NPI) projects from concept to launch
• Supporting process development and improvement activities
• Coordinating installation, commissioning, and validation of equipment
• Working with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and supply chain
• Supporting capital projects and site improvements
• Creating and maintaining project documentation, timelines, and reports
• Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards

About You

We are looking for a proactive and organised engineer who enjoys delivering projects and working across multiple areas of a manufacturing business.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in a Project Engineer, NPI Engineer, or Process Engineer role within manufacturing
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment
• Experience managing projects from concept through to completion
• Knowledge of installation, commissioning, and validation activities
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A hands-on, problem-solving approach
