Cyber Security - Government projects - DV Clearance

Are you a Cyber Security consultant looking for your next challenge? I am working with a well-known client working on a range of National Security & Digital programmes for the government.

They are looking for a Cyber Security Consultant to join their team. Due to the nature of the role, we are looking for sole British nationals, with DV clearance already held or a willingness and eligibility to obtain it.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting real-time operational mission environments with cyber and digital insight.
• Contributing to solutions for complex national security and cyber-related problems in multi-disciplined teams.
• Applying awareness of UK cyber strategy and digital technology to live operational challenges.
• Translating between different cultures and stakeholders involved in mission-focused work.
• Working closely with colleagues from a range of backgrounds in a demanding, time-critical setting.
• Travelling to other sites when required to support operational and project needs.

What we’re looking for:

• Awareness of digital technology, cyber security and UK cyber strategy.
• Experience working in mission-focused teams in demanding environments.
• Good understanding of national security expectations and personal security behaviours.
• Ability to translate between different and sometimes conflicting cultures.
• Strong self-awareness, cultural awareness and a flexible, adaptable attitude.
• Proactive approach with the judgement to take initiative at the right moments.

Flexibility to work onsite full time with occasional travel to other locations is expected.
