Branch Administrator / Assistant Insite Manager
9 12 month contract
Location: Tyne & Wear (NE6 Area)
Hours: 39 hours per week
- Monday-Thursday: 07:00 - 15:30
- Friday: 07:00 - 14:30
- Flexibility required for occasional operational demands
This is a fast paced, customer facing role offering a blend of operations, sales support and commercial responsibility.
You’ll play a key part in ensuring the customer has the parts, tooling and support they need to keep operations running efficiently, while also identifying opportunities to improve service and drive revenue. This role would suit someone with experience in industrial, engineering or manufacturing environments, particularly those from a sales support, procurement or stores background.

Responsibilities
- Managing customer enquiries and processing orders accurately
- Maintaining customer and product data within internal and customer ERP systems
- Liaising with engineering, procurement and supplier teams
- Handling queries relating to stock, pricing, back orders and deliveries
- Preparing and following up on customer quotations
- Building strong relationships with on site stakeholders
- Communicating with suppliers to resolve availability and delivery issues
- Supporting inventory control and taking responsibility for stores organisation
- Preparing reports for customer meetings and operational reviews
- Deputising for the Insite Manager when required
Experience
- Experience within an industrial, engineering or manufacturing environment
- Background in sales support, procurement, buying or customer service
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP advantageous)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
- Commercial awareness with a customer focused mindset
- Self motivated and able to work independently and within a team
- Full UK Driving Licence
