We are supporting a global organisation in the recruitment of an Email Marketing Specialist to join a European marketing team during a period of strategic change. This is a newly defined role, created to strengthen email as a core channel within a performance-driven marketing programme.

The successful candidate will take end-to-end ownership of email campaigns, operating as a subject matter expert and contributing insight to how email marketing is executed across key European markets. This role provides both accountability and autonomy, with scope to influence processes, approach, and outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and optimise email marketing campaigns end to end
• Set up and manage email audiences, segmentation, and campaign workflows
• Collaborate with European field marketing partners on performance-led initiatives
• Work closely with content marketing colleagues to ensure consistent brand messaging
• Coordinate campaign delivery through structured project management tools
• Monitor performance and apply insights to improve effectiveness
• Identify risks, anticipate challenges, and proactively recommend improvements

Skills and experience

• Demonstrated hands-on experience delivering email marketing campaigns
• Practical experience with at least one email marketing platform (eg Marketo, HubSpot, or equivalent)
• Confidence managing campaigns independently from initiation through deployment
• Experience working within structured project delivery environments
• Comfortable operating within cross-functional and multi-market teams
• Strong understanding of compliance, data handling, and audience management

Nice to have

• Exposure to B2B marketing environments
• Experience supporting campaigns across multiple European markets
• Familiarity with CRM or marketing automation ecosystems
