About you

• Deep knowledge of TypeScript and API design best practices
• Strong proficiency in Node.js with a focus on back end development
• Experience in database architecture, especially PostgreSQL or similar
• Skilled in building third party integrations, webhooks, and event driven systems
• Adept at DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code
• Knowledge of real time tech such as WebSockets
• Familiar with automated testing and search technologies like Elasticsearch or Typesense

What you’ll do

• Architect and enhance backend infrastructure: databases, APIs, and integrations
• Develop clean and efficient contracts between front end and back end teams
• Build and optimise integrations with external platforms to increase the company’s value
• Collaborate directly with the founder to shape product development and technical strategy
• Monitor and improve cloud deployment, security, and system performance
• Guide and mentor junior developers to grow their skills
