Job Description:
Technical Architect - Central Government (Inside IR35)

We’re looking for a seasoned Technical or Solutions Architect to join a central government team. This role is a great opportunity for someone who combines deep architectural expertise with a hands-on, full-stack development background. You’ll be working mostly remotely with occasional visits to the client site.

The Role

You’ll be a key leader, overseeing the end-to-end technical delivery across multiple projects. This includes driving the architecture and design, managing a technical design authority (TDA), and pushing innovation through rapid prototyping. You’ll also mentor and guide development teams to maintain best practices.

What We’re Looking For

• Architectural Leadership: Proven experience as a Technical or Solutions Architect, leading complex, full-life cycle solution delivery in an enterprise environment.
• Full-Stack and Power Platform Expertise: Deep knowledge of full-stack development and hands-on experience with low-code platforms, specifically the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Cloud and DevOps: Strong experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), integration design patterns, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Security Clearance: Already hold SC Clearance is essential.

Desirable Skills

• Experience in the public sector or other regulated industries.
• Microsoft certifications
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
• Previous experience as an engineer is a plus.
