Our client are a household name that are looking for an experienced Head of Engineering for their Data Platform Engineering team. This is a hands on technical role with management responsibility.

You will lead the team alongside managing large scale Data projects as well as ensuring all development, management and optimisation of the Data Platform.

Key skills:-

• Previous experience managing Data Platform Engineering teams
• Data Architecture, design and build of Real Time and batch Data Architectures
• Automation and DevOps
• Data Integration and transformation
• ELT/ETL
• Solid Python, SQL, Azure, Spark/Flink and Big Data technologies
• Hiring, developing and managing Data Platform Engineers
• Understanding of Security principles would be a huge bonus
