Key responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end SAP Archiving life cycle across ECC and S/4HANA systems
• Design and implement archiving strategies aligned to business and compliance needs
• Hands-on execution using SARA, ADK, Archive Link and ILM
• Reduce database growth and improve system performance
• Ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance
• Collaborating with Basis, Functional, Security and Audit stakeholders
• Define archiving standards, governance, and documentation
• Proactive problem-solving and analytical thinking
• Ability to communicate complex archiving concepts in simple business terms.
• Calm and reliable during audits, incidents, and critical business cycles

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect with hands-on expertise in GCP and Azure.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, GKE, and AKS for container orchestration.
• Expertise in Landing Zone design and optimization for enterprise-scale deployments.
• Advanced skills in Terraform/Terraform Cloud for IaC and automation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Harness).
• Proficiency in Python Scripting for automation.
• Understanding of policy-as-code frameworks (OPA, Sentinel) and cloud governance.
• Certifications: GCP Professional Cloud Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Kubernetes Certified.
• Proven experience in SAP Archiving (ECC & S/4HANA)
• Good knowledge of Open text archiving
• Good experience in SARA, ADK, Archive Link
• Strong SAP Basis knowledge
• Good experience in Data retention and compliance concepts
• Expertise in Large data volume management
