We’re supporting a mission-driven organisation on a high-profile national programme, and are looking for an experienced Communications & Engagement Manager to join on an initial 6-month contract.

This is a key role at a critical stage of the programme, where the foundations are in place and the focus is now on delivery, messaging and stakeholder engagement.

The Role

You will take ownership of communications and engagement activity across the programme, ensuring messaging is clear, consistent and lands effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

This includes:

• Delivering communications strategy across a complex change programme
• Managing stakeholder engagement across multiple groups
• Driving messaging and ensuring effective rollout across channels
• Supporting reactive and crisis communications in a high-profile environment
• Working closely with internal teams and external partners (including PR)
• Ensuring communications are aligned, timely and sensitive

About You

• Proven experience in communications and engagement roles within large-scale change or transformation programmes
• Strong background in PR, media or reputation management
• Comfortable operating in complex, fast-paced and high-pressure environments
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
• Able to hit the ground running and pick up work mid-delivery

Experience within charity, public sector or other mission-driven organisations would be highly beneficial.
