Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Location:Wivenhoe, Colchester, Essex

Package:£44,500 + AP Bonus

Working Hours:Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm or 9am 6pm

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer to join my clients team, covering a commercial site in Wivenhoe, Colchester. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to be part of a dynamic and well-established company that values quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks on mechanical, electrical and water systems.
• Perform inspections and checks to building equipment and systems such as generators, AHU/FCUs, motors, pumps, LTHWS etc.
• Perform maintenance and tests on fire alarms, emergency lighting, sprinklers, TMVs, cooling towers, calorifiers, legionella and other compliance.
• Monitor and manage BMS
• Diagnose and resolve M&E faults quickly and efficiently.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 or higher in HVAC/Mechanical/Plumbing & Heating related field
• Water Treatment/Systems or L8 Experience
• Proven experience in a similar building maintenance role.
• Enhanced DBS will be carried out
