An exciting opportunity has become available for a Shift Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical) to join a highly skilled team operating within a critical data centre environment in Lewisham. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, technically challenging environment and is looking to develop their career within critical infrastructure.

Working as part of a dedicated shift team, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous operation, maintenance, and reliability of critical building services systems within the facility. You will carry out planned preventative maintenance, fault finding, and reactive repairs, ensuring systems are operating safely and efficiently at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across electrical or mechanical systems
• Monitor and maintain critical infrastructure systems within the data centre
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to minimise downtime
• Ensure all work is completed in line with site procedures and safety standards
• Work collaboratively within a shift team to maintain site reliability
