The Digital Enterprise Architect will be responsible for the Digital technology architecture strategy for easyJet Holidays, ensuring it’s alignment with both wider technology and business strategy. The Digital domain at easyJet Holidays covers digital channels to merchandise and service our holiday products and include our Website and Mobile app architecture, partner APIs (all built in AWS), Digital Personalisation Platforms, Digital Asset Management, Product Inventory Platforms, Content Management Systems and integrations with core reservations platforms. What you'll bring - Experience of pragmatic architecture governance process in design governance, production of enterprise artefacts and maintenance of relevant architecture viewpoints.. - Demonstrable experience of leading major initiative discovery and experimentation. - Demonstrable experience of designing high quality software solutions in-line with business needs and timescales - Ability to confidently present architecture and technology strategy to both IT and business audiences - The ability to understand complex concepts and communicate them in a simple manner to business and technology stakeholders - Experience of designing/implementing solutions, including: - Large, multi-technology, multi-vendor solutions - Restful APIs and Microservices - Content Delivery Networks - Content Management Systems (e.g. Sitecore) - Front End Frameworks (e.g. React) - Caching & Search Solutions - Integration Service architectures and patterns - Experience of design using AWS solution architecture services e.g.EventBridge, Lambda, Step Functions, S3, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, DynamoDB - Experience of building internal and external 3rd party integration architectures - Experience of Event Driven Architecture & API Design - Practical experience of delivering iterative architecture solutions in an agile project delivery model - Understanding of the design approach to achieving functional and non-functional requirements - High degree of integrity, does what they say they will - Software Development path background desirable with evidence of previous programming language experience - Travel, Retail or Ecommerce Industry domain knowledge desirable but not essential
