A small, friendly law firm in Central London are looking to recruit an IT Support Assistant to provide quality IT support to the firm's 100 users. This role will suit someone looking for their second IT Support job and who is looking to develop their IT support experience in a varied busy role within a law firm. You will need to have 12 months experience working in an IT Service Desk role so that you have experience of ticketing and prioritising calls/emails ideally within a professional services firm. Technically you will need proven experience supporting Windows 10 and MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and have a good understanding of PC hardware. With this experience, you will join a small IT team of 3 and your remit will include: providing helpdesk support acting as the liaison for all logged tickets reviewing and prioritising all tickets and recording them accurately diagnosing and resolving IT issues or escalating as required liaising with the users and keeping them updated carrying out system administration such as leavers and joiners and maintaining user accounts working on IT projects such as installation, testing and rollout of new systems Being a small team, they are looking for someone who is happy to muck in and get involved in all aspects of IT within the team. You will need excellent communication skills allowing you to liaise with all levels of user, always delivering a good proactive, first class customer service. This role will suit a graduate/college leaver looking for their second job having gained 12 months IT support experience either during a placement year or having completed their studies. 3 or 4 days will be based in their Central London office with 1or 2 days working from home
