Senior Engineering Manager – Healthcare

£40 per hour (PAYE) | Temp-to-Perm (up to £85k)
40 hours per week | Min 6-month contract | We’re recruiting for a Senior Engineering Manager to join a high-profile healthcare facilities management contract at PRUH. This is a key leadership role where you’ll act as the technical authority across all engineering activities within a live hospital environment. What you’ll be doing: * Leading M&E engineering delivery across a complex healthcare site * Acting as the go-to expert on HTM compliance and safety-critical systems * Supporting and mentoring engineers and technical teams on-site * Working closely with clinical staff and stakeholders to ensure systems meet operational demands * Overseeing design changes, lifecycle planning, and maintenance strategies * Managing risk, driving improvements, and promoting innovative solutions * Supporting emergency response planning (power, fire, critical systems) What we’re looking for: * HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Building Services or Engineering (Degree preferred) * Professional membership (CIBSE, IET, IHEEM or similar) * Strong healthcare experience with solid knowledge of HTM / HBN standards * Background in facilities management / technical services * Good understanding of compliance, health & safety, and project delivery * Confident communicator with strong leadership skills Why apply? * Long-term opportunity with temp-to-perm potential (up to £85k) * Work on a critical healthcare contract with a leading FM provider * High-impact role with real responsibility and autonomy Apply now with yout up to date CV if you are interested in the Senior Engineering Manager position
