Recruit4staff are representing a well-established Engineering Site Services Provider in their search for a Maintenance Engineer to work in Oldham

Job Details:

• Pay: £30 per hour (LTD)
• Hours of Work: Ad hoc days – 6am to 4pm
• Duration: Contract (3 months)

Job Role: As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the smooth operation of the hospital’s laundrette department. The Maintenance Engineer will carry out planned preventative maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and ensure all plant and equipment is operating efficiently. This Maintenance Engineer role involves fault finding, diagnostics, and safely starting up and shutting down processing equipment in a busy working environment.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer or in a similar role
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Mechanically biased skillset
• Apprenticeship served or equivalent in mechanical engineering

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• Knowledge of mechanical, automation, hydraulic, pneumatic, or steam/pressure systems

• Working within the laundrette department at Royal Oldham Hospital
