NEOS Engineering are currently working with a well-established and highly respected plant hire organisation that is looking to bring an experienced Workshop Plant Fitter into their growing team.

The Role

As a Workshop Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of heavy plant equipment within a workshop environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out routine servicing and inspections on plant machinery
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
• Completing repairs and refurbishments within the workshop
• Maintaining detailed service records and job reports
• Ensuring all work is completed to high safety and quality standards

The Candidate

We are looking for a skilled and motivated engineer who takes pride in their work.

Ideal background:

• Proven experience as a Plant Fitter, Workshop Engineer, or similar
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrics, and diesel engines
• Experience working on equipment such as excavators, dumpers, rollers, and telehandlers
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
