Job Title: Lead Systems Analysis Engineer

Reporting To: Manager, Engineering

Work Schedule: Onsite Tewkesbury, GBR

Moog Industrial Group is hiring a Lead Systems Analysis Engineer/Staff Engineer to support our growing motorsport and high-performance vehicle programmes. Youll lead system development from requirements and modelling through validation and testing, using advanced electrohydraulic and electromechanical technologies. This role combines deep technical leadership with hands-on engineering and cross-functional collaboration.

Internal title: Staff Engineer.

Responsibilities Include:

• Lead functional analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition.
• Define V&V strategies and lead system/subsystem integration and testing.
• Apply magnetic analysis, CFD, and FEA.
• Produce clear technical reports.
• Support customer engagement and model-based design.
• Develop and maintain modelling and simulation tools.
• Mentor junior engineers.

To be considered for the Staff Engineer, heres what youll need to bring with you:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (Masters preferred).
• 10+ years engineering experience.
• Expertise in Simulink, V&V, subsystem integration, and technical leadership.
• Strong hydraulic systems and classical control theory background.
• Experience with simulation/sizing tools and failure analysis.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink.
• Strong planning, customer focus, and relationship-building skills.
• Servovalve familiarity preferred.
