Senior Electrical Project Engineer £75 per hour Remote working with occasional site visits (South of UK) Immediate start available Are you an Electrical Project Engineer with at least 10 years experience in Grid Transmission and renewable power projects? If so, please read on… Role Summary: Lead the engineering delivery of renewable energy projects from concept to commissioning across HV/MV/LV systems. Ensure designs are compliant, buildable, and cost-effective while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and supporting project execution. Key Skills & Responsibilities Required:

• 10+ years in Electrical Project Engineering (renewables preferred)
• Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
• Experience working with UK grid operators (DNO/TNO)
• Proven track record delivering infrastructure or energy projects
• End-to-end engineering ownership (design ? construction ? commissioning ? handover)
• Strong knowledge of HV/MV/LV systems, including grid connections (DNO/TNO interfaces)
• Experience with Protection & Control, SCADA, and OEM integration
• Ensure compliance with UK/European standards (BS EN, ENA, G99/100, Grid Code, CDM)
• Develop and oversee Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
• Support FATs and ensure equipment meets specifications

Construction & Site Support

• Provide technical support during construction (RFIs, redlines, as-builts)
• Ensure QA/QC alignment and progressive assurance
• Strong understanding of electrical safety (LOTO, permits, switching)
