Team Personal Assistant - Homebased - Flexible, United Kingdom

Grade E - £26,732 (National) or £32,588 (London - for London office based or home-based workers within the boundary of the M25) – There is also an additional homeworking allowance of £600 per annum for those working from home. Please note for part time roles – this will be pro rata.
Contracted Hours: Full time 37 hours per week
Contract Type: Fixed-term Contract or Secondment until 31st December 2026 to cover long-term sickness

As a Team Personal Assistant , you might get the chance to contribute in:

  • High impact coordination - supporting senior leaders during fastmoving projects by organising diaries, meetings and confidential information that helps shape key decisions.

  • Meaningful improvements - producing clear notes and reports from senior forums that feed directly into actions improving how we regulate services

The role
You’ll be key in helping us deliver our work. In this role, you’ll:

  • Support senior leaders:  Manage diaries and Director’s mailbox, organise meetings, prepare materials, and act as a first point of contact for the Director/Deputy Chief Inspector and designated managers.

  • Provide clear information:  Create accurate notes, reports and action logs, presenting complex information in simple formats for a range of audiences.

  • Keep things running smoothly:  Prioritise competing tasks, work independently, and collaborate with other PAs and directorate teams to respond flexibly to changing needs.

We will be looking for specific skills, knowledge and experience in your application form:

  • Experience managing busy senior diaries - including prioritising demands, coordinating meetings and handling confidential information with care.

  • Experience creating clear written outputs - such as notes, reports or briefings that turn detailed or complex information into simple, accessible formats.

  • Strong organisational and digital skills - including using tools like Outlook, Word, Excel or PowerPoint to manage tasks, track actions and support a team.
