Control Systems Engineer Coventry (with some overseas travel)

Were seeking a Control Systems Engineer with hands-on experience commissioning Siemens drives (S120), Siemens PLCs (STEP 7 / TIA) and Siemens CNC controls.

The role:

• Commission CNC machine tools & perform production trials
• Configure, test & calibrate PLC/CNC systems, HMIs & servo drives
• Design/test control circuits (electrical & PLC) ensuring CE/UKCA compliance
• Fault-find electrical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems
• Provide customer support at site and overseas

What youll need:

• Strong practical experience with inverter drives, servo motors, actuators & sensors
• Ability to read electrical, pneumatic & hydraulic schematics
• PLC programming skills (TIA Portal / STEP 7; Siemens 840D a plus)
• Knowledge of CNC machine tools & basic NC programming
• Confident, self-motivated, and problem-solving mindset

Package:

• £40k£45k depending on experience
• Permanent, full-time (MonThu 7:304, Fri 7:303)
• Based in Coventry with occasional overseas travel
