YouwilljoinahighlyexperiencedteamofseniorengineersandQAdevelopers,takingfullownershipoffeaturesfromdesignthroughtoproduction,whilecollaboratingdirectlywiththeclient.

KeyResponsibilities

• Design,build,andmaintainfeaturesacrossthefullstackofahigh-performancetradingplatform.

• Workprimarilywith:

  • TypeScript (Node.js &React)
  • Monorepotooling,GitHub,GitHubActions
  • Jest,Playwright
  • Redis,MSSQL,WebSockets
  • Docker,Kubernetes
  • Observabilitytools(Grafana,Prometheus,SonarQube)

• Takeend-to-endownershipoffeaturesfromdesigntoproduction.

• CollaboratecloselywithplatformandDevOpsengineersonbuildpipelines,observability,andoperationalconcerns.

• Communicatedirectlywithclientstoclarifyrequirementsandproposesolutions.

• Contributetoandimproveautomatedtestingpractices.

• Participateinpeercodereviewsandmaintainhighengineeringstandards.

• LeverageLLM/AI-enableddevelopmenttoolsaspartofday-to-daydevelopment.

Requirements

• 8+yearsofprofessionalsoftwaredevelopmentexperience.
• 3+yearshands-onexperiencewithTypeScript,Node.js,andReact.
• Goodexperiencebuildingandmaintainingproductionsystems.
• Comfortableworkinginasenior,autonomousengineeringteam.
• GoodcommunicationskillsandfluencyinEnglish.
• HybridworkinginWaterloo,London.

• Experiencewithfunctionalprogramming(OCaml,Haskell).
• Priorexperienceintrading,finance,orreal-timesystems.
