What will you be doing?
The Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Designer/Engineer plays a key role in helping deliver safe, reliable systems within the turbine halls at Hinkley Point C.
Working closely with a wide range of engineering and construction teams, you’ll help shape detailed design packages, support installation, and keep the project aligned with UK nuclear safety standards.
Your work will guide the project from early design through commissioning and final handover.
You’ll develop and review I&C documents such as hook-up drawings, carry out technical assessments, and make sure every design meets regulatory and project requirements.
You’ll prepare material take-offs, equipment schedules, and procurement details, while keeping documentation accurate and up to date.
Day-to-day, you’ll collaborate with mechanical, electrical, civil, and control specialists, respond to technical queries, and support construction teams on site.
You’ll also work with suppliers and the client to ensure smooth integration and successful delivery of all I&C systems.
