What You ll Be Doing

You ll take the lead on all aspects of Health & Safety across our manufacturing and office facilities, playing a key role in keeping our people safe and our operations compliant.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting regular H&S inspections across production, warehouse, and office areas
• Reviewing, updating, and implementing policies and procedures
• Carrying out risk assessments and COSHH assessments, ensuring controls are effective
• Leading incident investigations and driving corrective actions
• Delivering engaging safety training, inductions, and refresher sessions
• Ensuring full compliance with HSE regulations and maintaining audit-ready documentation
• Supporting leadership in building and embedding a strong safety culture
• Liaising with external auditors, contractors, and regulatory bodies
• Managing PPE, safety equipment, and emergency systems
• Driving continuous improvement in safety, efficiency, and hygiene standards

What We re Looking For

We re looking for someone who can confidently take ownership of Health & Safety and influence positive change:

• NEBOSH General Certificate (essential)
• IOSH Managing Safely (essential or working towards)
• Proven experience in a Health & Safety role within manufacturing or a similar environment
• Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and best practice
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
• Confident communicator, able to engage with all levels of the business
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritise effectively
• A proactive mindset with a passion for improving workplace safety

Relevant experience and qualifications are required
