Job Role of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

A brand-new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a market-leading FMCG manufacturing business based in Leeds. This is a fantastic chance to work for a blue-chip organisation that continues to invest heavily in its site, machinery, and engineering team.

The company operates a large, highly automated manufacturing facility and is known for maintaining extremely high engineering standards. Due to increased production demand, they are now looking to strengthen their maintenance team with a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer.

You will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance across a wide range of automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.

This role offers excellent job security, structured training, and genuine progression opportunities within a well-established and supportive engineering team.

Sector – Factory Maintenance

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment
• Apprentice trained engineer
• Strong experience with planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance

Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Multi-skilled engineer with an electrical bias
• Strong hands-on electrical fault-finding skills
• Recognised engineering qualification (Level 3 minimum)
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment

Desirable Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK
• PLC fault-finding experience
