Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Electrical Engineer or Mechanical (Plumbing) Engineer to join a small on-site engineering team. Working alongside one other engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining a diverse and high-profile facility comprising clinical/examination areas, hospitality spaces, office environments, and event areas.
This is a hands-on role requiring a proactive and flexible approach to ensure the smooth operation of all building services.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out reactive maintenance across electrical or mechanical/plumbing systems

Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with schedules
*
Complete remedial works identified through inspections and audits
*
Support the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring all technical requirements are met
*
Maintain systems across a mixed-use environment, including:
*
Clinical/examination areas
*
Hospitality and catering facilities
*
Office spaces
*
Diagnose faults and implement effective repair solutions
*
Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations and compliance standards
*
Liaise with site stakeholders and respond to operational needs in a professional manner
Skills & Experience
*
Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical/Plumbing Engineering
*
Experience working in a multi-use or commercial environment (e.g. healthcare, hospitality, offices)
*
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
*
Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team
*
Flexible and adaptable approach to changing daily priorities

Good communication and customer service skills
