Freelance Project Manager – District Heating Installation
Contract: 6 months (Immediate start)
Rate: £350 per day

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team for a 6-month freelance assignment. The Project Manager will oversee the installation of a new district heating system supplying a new housing development. This is a hands-on role with immediate start and a competitive rate of £350 per day.

Key Responsibilities for the Project Manager:

Act as the lead Project Manager for the installation, managing contractors, suppliers, and on-site teams.

Ensure the project stays on schedule and within budget, reporting directly to stakeholders.

Maintain high standards of health, safety, and quality throughout the project.

*

Resolve on-site issues quickly, demonstrating strong leadership as the Project Manager.

*

Prepare and maintain project documentation, including plans, schedules, and progress reports.

Ideal Candidate – Project Manager Profile:

Background in civils and water engineering with relevant experience managing construction projects.

*

Holds SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, and NUSR card certifications.

*

Proven track record as a Project Manager delivering complex infrastructure or utilities projects.

*

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Able to start immediately as the project Project Manager
