Location: Project is based in Scotland (Glasgow/Edinburgh) 2-23 days on-site per week
Duration: 12 months

Our client, a respected organisation within the Scottish Government, is seeking a skilled Oracle Cloud Reporting Developer to join their Shared Services Programme. This programme, launched in October 2024, supports over 20,000 users across HR, ERP, and EPM modules, delivering ongoing support, system enhancements, and upgrades. The role involves extending the system’s capabilities to wider Scottish Government bodies, ensuring seamless reporting and data insights.

What you’ll be doing:
Developing and maintaining reports using BI Publisher and OTBI across HR and Finance modules
Supporting live system operations, including troubleshooting and resolving reporting issues
Assisting with Oracle upgrades and system enhancements to improve functionality
Collaborating with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver tailored solutions
Contributing to the expansion of Oracle Cloud reporting capabilities within the organisation

What you’ll bring:
Proven experience with BI Publisher and OTBI in HR and/or Finance contexts
Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud reporting tools and data structures
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, government environment

Mandatory Skills:
Minimum of five years’ experience working with BI Publisher and OTBI
Demonstrable experience supporting Oracle Cloud reporting solutions in a UK-based setting

Desired Skills:
Knowledge of HR and Finance modules within Oracle Cloud
Experience with system upgrades and enhancements in Oracle Cloud environments

Required Education:
Relevant technical or IT qualification in data management, reporting, or related field

Licences and Certifications:
Oracle Cloud certifications are advantageous but not mandatory
