The Role: ArcGIS Monitor Specialist

Your responsibilities: ArcGIS Monitor Setup & Configuration

* Install, configure, and maintain ArcGIS Monitor software.

* Integrate ArcGIS Monitor with ArcGIS Portal, ArcGIS Server, and other Enterprise components.

* Ensure proper connectivity and data flow between monitoring tools and GIS infrastructure.

Cloud Infrastructure Monitoring

* Track performance and resource utilization of cloud-based GIS environments.

* Implement monitoring strategies for virtual machines, storage, and network components.

* Configure dashboards for real-time visibility of system health.

Alerting & Notifications

* Set up automated alerts for critical events, performance degradation, and system failures.

* Define thresholds and escalation procedures for proactive issue resolution.

Customer Engagement

* Gather and analyze customer requirements for monitoring and reporting.

* Provide technical guidance and best practices for system optimization.

* Work independently to design and implement solutions aligned with client needs.

Performance Analysis & Reporting

* Generate regular reports on system performance, uptime, and resource utilization.

* Identify trends and recommend improvements for system reliability and efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

* Strong experience with ArcGIS Enterprise 11.5 (Portal, Server, Data Store).

* Hands-on expertise in ArcGIS Monitor installation and configuration.

* Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar) and infrastructure monitoring.

* Familiarity with system performance metrics, alerting mechanisms, and dashboards.

* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

* Experience with PowerShell, Python, or scripting for automation.

* Understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and security principles.

* Exposure to DevOps tools for monitoring and alerting.

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience: 6-8+ years of Experience
