Job Description of Telecoms Fibre Engineer:

• Completing Fibre installations overhead and underground fibre.

• Blowing fibre, splicing, backfill and reinstatement

• Use and basic maintenance of a works tablet, fibre splicing machine, Power Meter, Fibre Identifier and Microscope.

• Respond professionally and effectively to all customer requests and enquiries

Key Requirements of Telecoms Engineer

• Full UK driver’s license with no more than 6 points on.

• Accreditations: SA001, SA002, NRSWA

• You will be Friendly, Customer focussed and desire to resolve any issues.

Telecoms fibre engineer physical requirements:

• The ability to lift objects regularly

• The ability to safely climb ladders

• The ability to bend and stretch with comfort

• The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day
