About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Lead to oversee the day‑to‑day operation of our site maintenance team. This role ensures compliance with statutory and mandatory standards while delivering efficient Mechanical, Electrical, and Fabric services across the site.
You’ll provide leadership to the engineering team, manage service delivery, coordinate planned and reactive maintenance, and support the operational success of a business‑critical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise daily activities of the maintenance team.
Ensure the effective operation, maintenance and repair of all M&E plant, equipment and building fabric.
Manage and monitor CAFM system performance, ensuring accurate reporting and task completion.
Oversee compliance documentation, risk assessments, method statements and work package plans.
Coordinate planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and prioritise reactive works.
Liaise with and supervise specialist contractors, including inductions and review of service reports.
Ensure statutory and mandatory compliance is consistently met.
Raise and close hazard observations and conduct contractor monitoring audits.
Attend required meetings, training sessions and operational reviews.
Support the development of innovative maintenance solutions and process improvements.
Participate in call‑out rota as required.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations (or equivalent).
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
Strong technical knowledge of M&E systems and plant operations.
Experience supervising technical staff within a maintenance environment.
Ability to manage workload, motivate teams and maintain service excellence.
Competent in using CAFM systems, digital logbooks and reporting tools.
Experience working in customer‑facing, business‑critical environments.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
IOSH Managing Safely.
Experience with BMS systems, fire alarms, generators, HVAC and water treatment systems.
Familiarity with UPS, comms rooms and other critical services.
Understanding of lift operations and associated services.
Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar supervisory role.
